You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, or licenses to upload, transcribe, or generate derivative content from any media you submit to the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, content sourced from platforms such as YouTube or other third-party video or audio hosting services. By submitting media for processing, you confirm that your use does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyright. We disclaim all liability for any misuse of copyrighted material submitted through the Service.

Any derivative content (including but not limited to summaries, captions, blog posts, or social-media snippets) generated from the transcript remains the sole responsibility of the user, who must ensure such use is non-infringing and complies with all platform policies.

You agree not to use the Service in a manner that violates the terms of service of any third-party platform from which you obtain media, including but not limited to YouTube, Vimeo.

Transcripts generated through the Service are provided for private use; re-publishing them in full without permission from the copyright holder is prohibited.

Content generated by automated systems may contain inaccuracies or inappropriate material; you should independently review and verify all output before relying on it.

Third-Party API Usage

We use third-party APIs to process the video and audio files you upload. These APIs are essential to delivering the core functionality of the Service, such as transcribing, analysing, or transforming your media into written content.

We do not store your video or audio files on our servers. Likewise, based on publicly available information and the documentation provided by these third-party providers, they do not retain or store your media files after processing is complete. However, we encourage users to review the privacy policies and terms of service of any third-party services referenced.

Transcripts are generated automatically and may contain errors; we make no warranty as to their accuracy or completeness.

By using VerbalTide, you acknowledge and accept the involvement of these third-party processors as part of the Service.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

When you create an account, you will be automatically enrolled in our free plan.

  • We reserve the right to adjust the pricing or features of any subscription plan. You will be notified in advance of any such changes.

  • Paid plans are billed monthly, with charges applied to your card or bank account at the time of subscription.

  • Payments are securely processed via Stripe. While payment details are collected through our interface, all transactions are handled directly by Stripe.

  • All payments are non-refundable.

  • You may upgrade or modify your subscription at any time. Changes take effect immediately from the date of the update.
    Example: "If you upgrade on 15th January, the new plan takes effect from that date."

4. Legal Terms and Rights

  • You must comply with all sections of these Terms.

  • If you violate these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or delete your account, with prior notice where appropriate.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. You will be notified of significant updates.

  • We reserve the right to delete any content we reasonably believe infringes intellectual property rights.
  • We may impose usage caps or rate limits to maintain service stability, and may modify or suspend the Service without liability.
